Access Point SPA9803 model 

The ImasDé WLAN Product Family has an Access Point among its members, the SPA9803 model, which complies with the IEEE 802.11 standard specification and is composed of a ISA9801 model wireless card and PC-AP software (© Neesus Datacom Inc.) for Access Point functionality. The main goal of this product is to ease the configuration of wireless networks for an Infrastructure environment, giving easier access of wireless stations to the network. 

Another major advantage derived from the use of the SPA9803 model Access Point is the linking between a wireless network and an Ethernet wired network. Both networks, wireless and wired, then would be integrated in a unique global network, so that any PC on the wired part may communicate with any other wireless PC, and vice versa. 
 

Connection
 

Keep in mind that the SPA9803 model Access point can be installed in any of the network PCs, turning those PCs into access points to the Infrastructure environment. Thus the ImasDé WLAN product allows current cable networks to be extended by just adding new wireless stations and without the need for new cables. 

The use of the Access Point SPA9803 model is especially suited for linking cable networks between floors, between near buildings and/or between near sites without continuity. 

The Access Point SPA9803 model is built by:

  • ImasDé WLAN ISA9801 Adapter Card.
  • Neesus Datacom 802.11 PC-AP Software.
