| ImasDé Canarias, S.A. is a small company founded
in September 1987, located in Canary Islands (Spain).
Working in the field of Electronic Equipments and Systems Research,
Design, Development and Manufacturing, ImasDé has Electronic Laboratories,
Research and Development Centers and Manufacturation Plant.
Since ImasDé was established, has designed and
developed a wide range of electronic products such as Programmable Keyboard
Access System, Alarm Stations and Outside Sirens, Safe Boxes Opening Programmable
Devices for Hotels, etc.
In 1989 ImasDé has been working, preferably, in
Electricity, Water and Gas Meter Telemetry, developing the SARP (Autonomous
Pulse Record System).
The SARP has obtained Patents of Invention in Argentine, Austria, Belgium,
Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Honduras, Italy, Japan, Luxemburg,
Mexico, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland/Lichenstein, United
Kingdom, USA and Venezuela and pending in other 16 countries.
In 1991 ImasDé sold the SARP Patents to UNELCO
(UNION ELECTRICA DE CANARIAS, S.A.), the public utility company for power
supply on the Canary Islands at US$ 1,5 million.
Since 1992 to 1997 ImasDé has manufactured more
than 140.000 pcs of "Pulse Memorizing Units" and more than 6.000 pcs of
"Data Transceiver Processor", both SARP equipments.
In November 1997, UNELCO and ImasDé have signed
a Trading Agreement by which our company will exclusively comercialize
the SARP in the whole World, during five years, that can be prolonged to
another five.
In March 1998 ImasDé started with its last product
sales - "ImasDé Wireless LAN card ISA9801 model" -
which is the first completely developed and manufactured in Europe fulfiling
IEEE 802.11 Standard and based on ISA Plug&Play interface.
